A shared intention. A world of ways.
Peace for Our Planet invites people everywhere to focus on peace, love, and compassion on March 27, 2027. We can honor our different beliefs and traditions while making room for the same hope.
These shared principles help keep the Peace Wave welcoming, peaceful, and true to its purpose.
Everyone is welcome
Participation is free and voluntary, across countries, cultures, identities, and beliefs. People of every faith and no faith are welcome. No one is expected to adopt another person’s beliefs or practices.
Begin where you are
Dedicate at least ten sustained minutes to peace, love, and compassion. Pray, meditate, sing, sit quietly, move, or choose another peaceful practice that feels true to you.
Longer practices and multiple sessions are welcome. You can participate alone, with people you know, at a local gathering, or through an independently hosted livestream. You do not need to register, donate, or disclose your beliefs.
Your local March 27. Your chosen time.
Participate on March 27, 2027, in your own local time zone. There is no required global start time.
Hosts should clearly publish their gathering’s local start and end times and time zone. Activities before or after March 27 can carry the intention forward, but are separate from the event itself.
Keep the focus on peace
The Peace Wave is a nonpartisan, nonviolent invitation to practice peace together. Gatherings and materials must remain free of political campaigning, protests, attempts to convert others, hate speech, and commercial promotion.
Your other lawful activities and personal affiliations do not prevent you from participating. During the Peace Wave, we ask everyone to honor its shared purpose.
Gather with care
Local gatherings and livestreams are independently organized. Hosts are responsible for their venues, permissions, local legal requirements, safeguarding, and any applicable insurance.
Hosts should provide clear accessibility information and help participants understand what to expect. Entry to a gathering listed on our website must be free. Any optional donation request must be clearly explained and must not be a condition of participation.
Choose a way to participate that is safe for your circumstances. A peaceful moment at home is a meaningful part of the wave.
Represent the movement honestly
A gathering’s inclusion on our website requires review and acceptance of our host standards. A listing does not mean Peace for Our Planet operates or insures that event.
Claims of official endorsement, partnership, or authority to raise funds on behalf of Peace for Our Planet require permission. Participation figures must be supported by evidence, and pledges must be distinguished from reported participation.
Respect people and their privacy
Honor each person’s dignity, boundaries, and freedom to participate in their own way.
Public event listings will include only the contact and location details hosts authorize us to publish. Personal information will be collected for a stated purpose, with appropriate consent and a way to request correction or withdrawal. See our Privacy Notice for details.
Help us uphold these principles
Peace for Our Planet may request changes to, decline, or remove website listings and campaign materials that do not follow this charter.
Hosts and contributors may use our Contact Us form to request a correction or review of a decision. Participants can use the same form to raise concerns.
Let this be a beginning
However you choose to participate, bring a heart-centered intention—and consider carrying an act of peace, love, or compassion into the days that follow.
